Steve Bannon on Pelosi, the DOJ, and Trump’s Path Forward

Joe Pags interviews Steve Bannon, former White House Chief Strategist, for the first time, tackling major issues from Bannon’s recent prison experience to what he sees as the critical stakes in tomorrow’s election. Bannon speaks out against what he views as corruption in Washington and the lengths political elites are going to maintain power.

Reflecting on his prison sentence, Bannon said, “It shows you the law fair... they use the Justice Department... they're totally corrupt.” He believes his imprisonment reflects a larger pattern of targeting by political opponents, pointing specifically to former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom he claims has a powerful agenda against Trump. “Nancy Pelosi is playing Smashmouth… her purpose in life right now… [is to] make sure Trump never wins the presidency again,” he shared, describing her influence and reach as “obsessed.”

The conversation then turned to what Bannon sees as an “oligarchy” ruling America, a system he says is threatened by Trump’s coalition of populist and nationalist supporters. “The reason they hate Trump is Trump has been able to coalesce a populist nationalist uprising,” Bannon asserted, adding that Trump’s movement is attracting new allies, including Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and others he describes as “some of the finest brains in the country.”

Bannon closed with a strong message for today's voters, stressing the importance of showing up at the polls. “We must deliver [on election day]… we have to deliver for President Trump and we are… a long way from winning this thing,” he urged, emphasizing the need for widespread support to secure a victory.
